Madeleine Bernstein

Certified Pilates Teacher

Madeleine received her Comprehensive Pilates Certification from the Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School.

I started doing Pilates at a young age after an injury I developed from playing tennis. Pilates helped me rehab from that injury, and in turn made me stronger to continue having a very competitive tennis career. As I got older, I began to lift, and run. But through it all, Pilates has been a constant. I love that it has helped me develop body awareness, a mind-body connection, has helped me get stronger, and has protected my back and joints as I try new things in the gym. And that’s why I decided to teach and why I love to teach. Pilates has given me a confidence in movement and has been a movement that I consistently enjoy. I believe everyone should have freedom in movement and in their bodies, and I think Pilates provides this. I love being able to be a part of that journey for people, and I love the opportunity to teach deeper self and body awareness to everyone that comes through my classes.
