SPRING 2024 Group Weekend Equipment Lecture Schedule
STARTS april 27
Lecture schedule (46 hrs.)
Lecture includes: Beginner to Advanced Classical and Contemporary Equipment Choreography on the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Barrel, Spine Corrector, Magic Circle and other Props. Facilitating Client Alignment and Progressive Stretching Techniques, Special Populations- working with clients that have medical conditions including back, knee, hip, shoulder, foot, ankle, pre and post natal and more!
Each weekend of lecture, students teach each other and will be assessed and evaluated by an Expert Teacher Trainer. Moving forward students will learn how to teach Private Clients, Reformer/Tower Classes, Exo Chair Classes and more!
First Weekend: April 27, 28: 1:00p-6:00p
Second Weekend: May 4, 5: 1:00p-7:00p
Third Weekend: May 11, 12: 1:00p-7:00
Fourth Weekend: May 18, 19: 1:00p-7:00p
Following the above lecture, you will then complete 275 hours of various practice time that includes self-practice, supervised and unsupervised teaching, observation and teaching Equipment Classes and Private sessions. You may do practice after every weekend of lecture.
Upon completion of all of your practice time you will then take a final written and practical test to complete your Equipment Certification requirements. (See details below).

If you miss any of the above Equipment Program Group lecture dates for any reason, you can make them up in a future Equipment Group Program lecture at no charge.
Once you schedule your make-up in a future Program it cannot be changed to another Program at no charge. You will need to make it up privately at a rate of $100 per hour. (Every two hours of missed group is equal to one hour of private make-up).

STUDENT PRACTICE HOURS (275 Hrs.)
These hours are done after completing lecture hours.
You do them when it’s convenient for you. The studio is always available for you to practice.
Self practice. (80 Hrs.)
Observation of Classes and Privates (40 Hrs.)
Unsupervised teaching (work with other students in your lecture class)(50 Hrs.)
Supervised teaching (students are evaluated by Expert Teacher Trainers) (30 Hrs.)
Apprentice Teaching of Private Sessions, Reformer/Tower and Chair Classes (upon approval by Teacher Trainer) (75 Hrs.)
Upon completion of all of the lecture and practice time, students will then take a final written and practical test.
Upon receiving your application:
Our Program Director will contact you to set up a introductory phone call to discuss our Certification Program and answer any questions you may have. Thereafter, a meeting will be scheduled with you and the Program Director in the studio to carefully review the Certification Program Manuals and answer any further questions you may have.

TAKE OUR EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM PRIVATELY!
If you are unable to make the lecture group weekends of our Equipment Certification Program, you may take it privately with one of our Expert Pilates Teacher Trainers. You can schedule your lecture hours when it’s most convenient for you. You will do 35 lecture hours with an Expert Teacher Trainer. The practice requirements are the same as the Group Program.
Private Tuition -All Inclusive:
Pay Tuition in full when you register: $7,000
Or
Payment Plan: Pay Tuition in 3 payments: $7,500 ($2,500 per month. The first one at registration, the second in 30 days and the third thirty days after the second payment).

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellation of the Equipment Program must be received via email to the studio at least two weeks prior to the start of the Equipment lecture.
A $250 Administrative Fee is applied to all refunds for the Equipment Program.
No refunds for any reason are given if a cancellation is requested within two weeks prior to the start of the Equipment Program.
If you purchase both programs together, you cannot cancel either program, once the first one has started.
Certification Awarded upon completion of both Mat and Equipment Programs:
A Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Certificate is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all required Mat & Equipment hours and passing the final written and practical tests.
