Summer 2024 WEEKEND Mat Lecture Schedule
starts Sat. JUNE 8
(3 Weekends, 30 hours of Lecture)
Taught live in studio by Expert Teacher Trainer
Lecture includes: The History of Pilates, Introduction of the Skeleton and Muscular Systems, Integration of Anatomy, Biomechanics and Movement Science, The Five Categories of Effective Cueing, The Art of Observation and Modifications, Classical and Contemporary Pilates Choreography, How to Create an Effective Pilates Mat Class. Students will also teach each other and be given assessments, evaluations and recommendations from the Expert Teacher Trainer. Written Test is given in the second weekend.
First Weekend: June 8, 9 (1pm-6pm)
Second Weekend : June 15, 16 (1pm-6pm)
Third Weekend: June 22, 23 (1pm-6pm)
Following the above lecture, you will then complete 60 hours of various practice time that includes self-practice, supervised and unsupervised teaching, observation and teaching Mat classes to complete your Mat Certification requirements.

Fall 2024 WEEKDAY Mat Lecture Schedule
starts Sat. Sept. 14

If you miss any of the above Mat Program Group lecture dates for any reason, you can make them up in a future Mat Group Program lecture at no charge.
Once you schedule your make-up in a future Program it cannot be changed to another Program at no charge. You will need to make it up privately at a rate of $100 per hour. (Every two hours of missed group is equal to one hour of private make-up).

STUDENT PRACTICE HOURS (60 Hrs.)
(REQUIRED PRACTICE HOURS TO BE COMPLETED AFTER COMPLETING THE 30 HOURS OF LECTURE)
Started after you complete your Program Mat Lecture hours and done when convenient for you.
The studio is always available for students to practice.
20 hours of Self Practice of Mat Choreography Exercises -Can be done outside the studio.
10 hours of Unsupervised Teaching with another Mat Student. Can be done virtually or in studio.
5 hours of Observation. Can be done observing our in studio Mat Classes, Virtual Classes or Videos on Demand.
10 hours Supervised teaching in studio. You bring a friend in and we supervise it.
Teach 15 Classical Mat Classes. Can be done in our studio or virtually.
Upon receiving your application:
Our Program Director will contact you to set up a introductory phone call to discuss our Certification Program and answer any questions you may have. Thereafter, a meeting will be scheduled with you and the Program Director in the studio to carefully review the Certification Program Manuals and answer any further questions you may have.
Group Tuition- All inclusive
The Tuition you pay for the Mat Certification Program covers everything you need to Graduate. There are no prerequisites!
Pay in full before the start of Program $2,200.
Early Bird Discount- register 14 days before start of Program save 10% off Tuition.
Payment Plan: Pay over 3 months-$2,475 ($825/month)

Can’t Make Our Weekend Mat Certification Program?
Take our Mat Certification Program privately!
If you are unable to make the lecture group weekends of our Mat Certification Program, you may take it privately with one of our Expert Pilates Teacher Trainers. You would able to schedule your lecture hours when it’s most convenient for you. You may take it privately in the studio or virtually. It include 20 hours of private lecture and 60 hours of practice time.
Private Tuition -All Inclusive:
Pay Tuition in full when you register: $2,900
Or
Payment Plan: Pay Tuition in 3 payments: $3,300 ($1,100 per month. The first one at registration, the second in 30 days and the third thirty days after the second payment).

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellation of the Mat Program must be received via email to the studio two weeks prior to the start of the Mat lecture.
A $250 Administrative Fee is applied to all refunds for the Mat Program.
No refunds are given for any reason if a cancellation is requested within two weeks prior to the start of the Mat Program.
If you purchase both programs together, you cannot cancel either program, once the first one has started.
Certification Awarded Upon Completion of the Mat Program:
A Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School Mat Certificate is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all required hours..
